Sunshine.

What a lovely way to start a new year a beautiful sunshine and blue sky, dare I hope that this is the beginning of truly wonderful weather to come!!The only downside of sunshine is that as it shines through the windows it shows how dirty they are and shines straight on the dust in the house and makes me feel very guilty that I have neglected my house over the holidays.
I am not going to go into all the details here on my blog but I have had the saddest Christmas that I have ever had,I could just not bring myself to show you any of my lead up to Christmas but now that it is over and the new year is here I'm trying to pull myself together and look forward to this been my year.I have said it all before but this year I am going to change the way I do things concentrate on the people who have stood by me through the last few weeks of my life who I really could not have done without. My hubby is to see the surgeon again this month and I'm just keeping fingers toes and anything else crossed that his health is going to improve.I'm going to start slimming world AGAIN! next tuesday my clothes are very uncomfortable the only thing I feel comfey in is my PJ's and dressing gown and I just cannot go shopping in them,Can I?? No Jill you cannot!!!
My decs are coming down tomorrow and I'm going to have a good clean and get myself back into my routine I do have to have one to keep me on track with everything I love to keep my house clean and my little garden tidy and over the last few weeks they have suffered so back to it,I probably sound like a real bore loving house work but I really do get a buzz out of it.
Now I'm going to go and take some of the cards down and do a bit of cleaning in my kitchen whilst preparing dinner for our meal tonight.I do hope you are all well and happy and looking forward to your new year as I am.Enjoy the rest of your day and evening and this lovely sunshine Oh! I hope you have sunshine.
Bye for now Love Jill xx

  5. I'm so sorry your Christmas wasn't up to par and that hubby still has problems with his back. You know that I know what that's like. I did too much the other day and am now suffering the consequences - can hardly wait for my massage therapy on Friday! Maybe my ABCW post will cheer you up a bit as I wrote about my holiday with you in Yorkshire. You were the best hostess anyone could ever have dreamed of! And I thank you here again for all you did for us. Happy New Year, Jill, and please give hubby a hug from me.

  6. I'm sorry that things haven't been good for you recently, I hope 2013 will bring much better times for you.
Nothing boring about loving housework, I've always enjoyed caring for my home and garden. All our decorations came down today and are safely stored in the loft again now, it's lovely to be getting back into our normal routine again. Happy New Year!

  7. Sorry to hear things haven't been good for you. Me too, so much for the season of goodwill - there's been a distinct lack of goodwill in part of my family this year! However we have to be brave and keep on swimming don't we! I plummet to the bottom every now and again but like you I love my home and my hobbies and I'll keep plugging on. Hope this year brings you happiness and good health (for your hubby too). Best wishes x
